I shed my clothes and cut my skin. Will I ever be me again? The beast takes hold in darkest night, an abomination in God's sight. I shiver with the snap of my trembling bones and run into the moonlit night: my new home.

A very lovely piece and I do love the imagery you used. I'm sure we all have an inner self in which wishes to escape, be discovered, noticed and seen by those around us. The inner self which we choose is best to be hidden due to fear of humiliation or judgement by others. But we must know that we can't truly find ourselves unless we really 'want' to. What if they don't want to be found? What do we do then?
