Not alone

Not alone

A Poem by Fin Buckley
"

I wonder if I'll ever know their name.

"

I wander through these wilted woods,

Awakened by the thought

That we are not alone

In this world.

I look up to see a wave

          Of stars blowing past,

The sky a murky black that’s still

      Watery with daylight.

I wonder if

     Somewhere out there,

 A creature is looking up

                At the same sky,

              Thinking about me

    As well.
