Make space

Make space

A Poem by Fin Buckley
"

It's only downhill from here.

"

Every day

These thoughts pile up

Inside me.

She passes me by

And a trail of words

Forming a greeting

Follow her,

But it is not enough.

These emotions

Slosh around

Within, and I am found

Coughing up my insides

To make space

For more.

So poignant and touching. The angst of love unable to be expressed. The worship from afar. Unique use of words and imagery. Loved this.
