The Tourniquet Fog

The Tourniquet Fog

A Poem by Bryän

Hail the morbid love of the mist

The mist hovering above the snow

Caressing the withering leaves

Deferring the bleeding moonlight

I give my heart to its strangulation

I kiss the deathly chill

Swallowing all things that be

The Freezing Haze devours the land in spite

Its maelstrom of terror loves me

As much as I adore it

All thought is to be abandoned

All feeling to be left at the threshold of my mind

Breathing, restricted

Hail the icy storm blast of the miasma

The ultimate in constriction

All things disappear tonight

In the binding love

Of Tourniquet Fog

I love your play on words- using such dark and negative words, but pairing them with soft and gently ones- lovely write!!
