Swansong to a Seraph

Swansong to a Seraph

A Poem by Bryän
"

A little relic from the past that I found.

"

Upon this lonely island,

Condemned to die

A slow death;

Decomposing for aeons.

Out of the grey skies,

Onto my morbid shores,

Fell this angel,

Beauty beyond comprehension,

To shatter these bonds of oppression,

That anchors me to this grey home.

The lovely seraph

Came to set free;

This chained and repulsive beast.

I like the title as well as the poem. The ending is so nice...:)

And btw, your avatar and mine seem very similar. Mine is a sunset seen through a canyon on Mars. And yours? ...bob
