Regret

Regret

A Poem by Filipe Magalhães

In thy face flows a river so salty
It disembogues in the sea of my fault

Deluge with a storm of regret
My dirt sin made thee so upset

Thy grief, my despair
My betrayal was so unfair

Alas, my God, what a hell!
Like a rebel angel, I fell

Fell in despair, trapped by my sin
My soul was swallowed by him

Please, Honey Nymph, relief this pain!
Nourish our little Zeus again

Feed with forgiveness our love link
In a pond of oblivion he sinks
