Insanity PleaA Poem by Rowan TylerJust a random poem.Mad as a hatter she forced out a smile.
Lost to the world she carved her denial. The choices she made put her over the edge. Now her sanity has one hand on the ledge. Thoughts leave blank pages in the book of her mind. Her story, unwritten, slowly unwinds. The words fly unwanted out in the night. A story untold is left out of sight. She ventures through the streets of home. Nothing needed except to roam. She leaves her feelings all over the road. There they can stay to lie and corrode. Her mind can no longer thrive. Without her lies she could not survive. The truth ate her heart like a maggot inside. Reality nibbled where she could not hide. © 2010 Rowan Tyler
