Forgotten One

I am always the forgotten one.

The way I feel when you look at me
like I’m exposed for all to see.
My soul’s tearing open
bleeding into your palm.
Your eyes are empty.
No feeling inside for me.
I’m a toy, an object.
Use me as you will.
Never spare a second thought...

Not for the one that you forgot.
