Caught in the Current

Caught in the Current

A Poem by Rowan Tyler
"

A nature inspired poem about teenaged angst. lol.

"

Crash into the Ocean,
The waves rocking the shore,
Explosions from underground,
Is anywhere stable anymore?
The current swirls around,
I’m caught in the pull,
Not knowing which direction to turn,
Alas I am bound.
The darkness surrounds,
Blotting out all else,
Thoughts are chaos,
Not knowing what will be found.
Bubbles float along,
Carrying dreams never to return,
Knowing what must come to pass,
Hoping to go where I belong.
