Friendship

Once I seen a playful light

One the bounced in and out of sight

determined to be

what you see

Unsure you can handle the gravity

Reaching out

to capture the spark

allowing me to touch the heart

timid and true

that is what I felt

to see the light in the dark

A roaring flame

burst forth from my hand

What did I not see

What did I not understand

The light had wane

left me to think

Will it ever grace me again

That is all I think
