Sweet Tooth

Sweet Tooth

A Poem by Fia Naturie

I never considered myself as having a sweet tooth
if my coffee is too sweet
I pour it out
if the frosting of a cake is too sweet
 I push it aside
Even if the fruit is too ripe
I will not take a bite

Then you came along my views changed
My thoughts converted to all sorts of delectable delights

I wondered how your lips would taste
After you ate that grape
How your skin would taste
With that shimmery hue
Making me wonder if it tastes like honey on you

Where did you come from?
That you tempt me so.
I am very kept and well-controlled
With one taste, I know I will shatter
Like glass on concrete, everywhere I will scatter

I decided if I have a taste of you
It will be decided
You are my sweet tooth
I will no longer fight

Thank you Tp for the comment.
Infatuation is a really good feeling when you can get it. Like being high almost just recognizing what another can do to our mood.

Nicely done, Fia.

Thank you. appreciate your comments
This was very sweet (it was but also I couldn't help saying that, it just fits the theme too well). I like that it used a bunch of very unique examples to show the beginning of a crush or falling in love. Very well done, I enjoyed it.
