Bird

To be a bird
The goal is to learn how to fly
Not to sink down quickly to the ground
 As others walk on by

You must catch the wind
soar and swoops
Doing all these magnificent tricks
above the roofs

Life in any form
Is difficult to navigate
To adapt and change
To avoid unnecessary hate

I like being that bird
If only in my mind
See where the wind takes me
Wherever I go I'll be just fine.

a descriptive poem about being like a Bird. Imbibing qualities and be like the Bird. In nature, there are so many things and life forms from which we can derive inspiration to mold our personalities. I like the attempt to look at nature for inspiration here. Well written, good choice of words and it comes across. Keep writing, thanks for sharing.
