Rainbows are liars

Rainbows are liars

A Poem by Fia Naturie

I seen a rainbow today
It brought a smile to my face
It made me believe that their is something good to see
Why did I believe

I thought of the rainbow today
Something beautiful to acquire
Like colorful jewels
Rainbows are liars

Why was there a rainbow today
It rained I know
It came down in torrential way
It should have stay hidden far from display

I remember the rainbow
from earlier today
It's not your fault
you were created to play

A rainbow is not a liar
I projected how I feel
It's only truth is
that it is real

Thank you for the read Andra
It looks like the rainbow won you over. This kind of reflects people too in a way. We may not like them at first, but when we find out we have the same likes our views about them change.

Nice poem, Fia. :)
