BeautifulA Poem by Poetic Tuesday
Something about the way she's imperfect is so heartbreakingly beautiful.
Perhaps it's how she stays so calm And feigns happiness, when I know That she's hurting just as badly as I am. From the heart of one bleeding raven To another. She tells me she's fine, She tells me not to worry, And all I do is wonder if she's alright. It's because she cares about me, right? Or is it how she swears that she loves me? A pretty little smile can only be a mask for so long, love. One day, we all have a little breakdown. The only difference is that When I break I tear down walls and emotions and build up pain in their places When she breaks She lets me know who she is and why she needs me And it's so Absolutely Positively Wonderfully Amazingly Beautiful. © 2011 Poetic TuesdayAuthor's Note
