Never to Let Go

One of the few happy poems I have written.

Your scent on my pillow;
brings a smile to my face
Your hand in my hand;
makes my heart pound and race

Your lips soft and beautiful;
feeling ever so lovely against mine
Looking me directly in the eyes;
letting you look into my soul

We clasp our hands together;
you promise never to let go
I trust you more than anything;
something I very well know

When our hands unclasp;
I still feel an invisible hold
I know why this is....instantly;
my heart is yours and yours is mine

Never to be torn apart....
Even in the roughest of times.
