I regret that our friendship is lost

I regret that we didn’t have a chance

I regret that I didn’t fight

I regret that I didn’t take a stand

I miss the laughs we shared

I miss the good times we had

I miss the private jokes

And they way you drove me mad

I look back to the times in math

When she said partner up

I knew to look at you

But now I’m out of luck

You’ve left, you’ve gone

You went away

You’ve already replaced me

In less than a day

Now there are only memories

No new jokes to share

The silence that once was so comfortable

Is now extremely hard to bear
