Broken-Hearted Converse

Broken-Hearted Converse

A Poem by Fearless Sunshine

one day I bought a pack of sharpies
I drew a heart on my converse
I drew it in red sharpie
I got a compliment on my converse
and then met the love of my life
he then took my black sharpie
asked if he may
I said he may
he drew us under that heart
the next day my world fell apart
he tore up our love
so I took white-out
and made that heart split into two
just like us
hoping you regret it
