Welcome To The FairA Poem by Fearful.I'm just full of fun and games.Welcome to the fair!
Where my eyes are a fun-house. Disfigured reflections cloud my vision. Glass walls trick me for exits. Where is my escape? My head pounds with every run in to a trap. Welcome to the fair! Where my mind twirls like a tea cup. Excitement spins you. Overwhelmingly making you sicken. Thoughts can never wrap around feelings. I'll take you on a ride, full of confusion. Welcome to the fair! Where my appearance deceives you. My painted on smile covering my hideous frown. Welcoming you, tricking you. Drowning you in misconceived happiness. Welcome to the fair! Where everything has a price. Ridiculously ripping you off. Taking more than giving. Falsely advertising fun. Welcome to the fair! Where decisions are made. What will please your happiness? Being trapped? Spinning sick? To be tempted? Paying the price? Welcome to my fair! Lose your worries, and twirl with me. Open your mind to venture into mine. As I seasonally come and go. Always capable of attracting you. Love my fair. Where I can trick you into loving anything I want. Me. © 2010 Fearful.Author's Note
