A Poem by Fernanda

Little girl sitting in the hall

Playing with a doll

Blonde, skinny, pretty

Why cant I look like that at all?

Little girl sitting in the hall

Got a DVD, got her first CD

They're all so pretty

Why can’t I look like that at all?

Little girl sitting in the hall

Reading a magazine

Models in bikinis

Blonde, skinny, pretty

Why can’t I look like that at all?

Time passes, things don't change

Society's beauty stays the same

She does it all to change her face

Why wasn't she born that way?

Food is the enemy, toothbrushes best friends

Natural is ugly, make-up will help

Smart is stupid, hot is the thing

The inside won't matter, the cover is the deal

Zero calories, zero her size

She will look pretty

Harder she'll try

She'll stop eating

She'll do anything

Why can't I look like that at all?

Size zero society broke her

But now she can fit in

Size zero society killed her

But she looked so happy

Society of the hypocrites

Will kill then will cry

If we don't change it

We all will die
