Smile

Why are you smiling?
Shouldn’t you be crying?
Your life just turned upside down
And there’s no coming back now

Shouldn’t you be scared?
At least terrified
Shouldn’t you be screaming?
Why are you smiling?

I wonder if it’s fake
I wonder if it’s real
I wonder if you’re at all able to feel

Maybe that’s true
You’ve got no emotions
Maybe that’s a lie
You should be on movies

Why are you smiling?
Are you that twisted?
They just ruined your life
Can’t you see it?

Why are they by your side
When all they’ve done is hurt you
Why are you smiling
When all they’ve done is break you

Little do I know the truth inside your heart
Little do I know you’re breaking down inside
Little do I know you’ll soon be gone forever
Little do I know the reason why

Why are you smiling?
