Paper ScrapsA Poem by Fabian FrancoI've been busy with school lately so I'm glad I was able to have time to put some of my work up.There are times I pass through like paper scraps on worned out roads Lacking the heart of what I once dreamt of long ago Summer warmth escaped out this window for all left alone Never did I long for someone quite like you before Voices parade through my ears like tunnels of passing days Whispering to me haughty words of passionate dreams And the drifting blooms of autumn pleads Blind yet set on grassy afternoons with love to greet Our bodies rot like roses in winter beginnings Naked eyes glances the frost blessing our homes Dew in springtime promises life to me Quilts left aside for embrace on lips so sweet Time is my father calling for me I can hear the singing across the sea Rushing to me in misplaced dreams Your smile will keep me close sitting where ever you may be
