The Darkest Time Of Night

Looked out at the sky and I just wrote down what I felt.

The night sky with flickering lights

Keeps in competiton with the floating clouds

The moon the pearl of the sky

The sun the giver of light

All is kept in balance

They keep in cycle with one another

Woven together at each end

Never ending beyond our existence

It's kinda choppy at parts. Not my best but I enjoyed writing this.

i didn't find it choppy at all. flowed with grace, but i can see why you say it is kind of choppy but sometimes choppy doesn't mean it won't flow . the poem has strength even in its simplicity and it waves over the pebbles, they are only pebbles my friend, nothing that cannot be overcome :)

It is a bit choppy, and lacks the flow that would really make this a spectacular piece. Having said that, it's still pretty good as-is, and the imagery was excellent. Nice write.
