Not aloneA Poem by Wayward SoulMy friend called me today, and I learned that his 8 year old sister had died of breast cancer so I scribbled this up to houner her struggle and to encourage any of you who have lost to it as well.
The full moon shown down
Upon newly placed soil The white marble slab Shown clear in the light The family still mourn The deceased lost the war With the plague that had now claimed her life Like a thief in the night death had come And had left with her innocent soul Her heart had ceased to beat The monitor beeped, then turned to a long mournful tone To ye who has lost a loved one to cancer Remember that your not alone there soul now prances in fields above And are enfolded in his arms of love © 2016 Wayward SoulAuthor's Note
