A Poem by Fay Slimm

Before.

I have walked here before.

When or how I do not know but the feel
of this place,
grass-edged and daisyed resonates deep
within my core.

I have lain here before.

How long ago I cannot tell but just when
your head turned
some time-caught veil fell then with our
eye contact I saw.

I have been yours before.

And know now I will be again for death's
spiteful claws will not
drown love in painful solo for what fate
records it restores.

thanking you really masses for your kind support.....an bless ya as well.............x
interesting love story .. not sure i want to go 'round again having walked through death but the thought is beautiful .. deja vu is well shared an experience .. to have found true love once and lost our partner in life is treasure enough; but to think that the same person in another "form" has been put back in our life by .. "Fate" is a bit beyond romantic says i! i enjoy the one line interludes .. first person draws me into your speakers mind ... in V2 L4 ",, eye contact.." seemed a bit cold for such a warm love poem ... reading a second time it seemed ok because your theme is so engrossing, in my opinion .. not sure how i would say it in a more romantic way .. kind of "eyes across the crowded room" .. eyes drawn to one another ... hmmmmm .. anyway .. love the timelessness of your lovers .. so romantic to think that two hearts and souls may reunite even through the pall of death .. ;)
