Swansong.

Swansong.

A Poem by Fay Slimm

Swansong.

White whooper swans.

Wings spread like angels.

Bugling in throngs.

Ready for foreign horizons.

Honking goodbye.

Avian swansong.

Skeins of life in free formation.

I wish I could fly.

Swans are so majestic, so elegant in water, but then they are in flight also. Who would not want to join them as they reach for the sky. Beautiful work Fay to accompany your posted image of free formation.
