Battle.A Poem by Fay Slimm
Battle.
Settling mysterious glow on late Phoebus hazily parts blown veils on early twilight's face between striated clouds.
Rays beat moon's rising attempts dying light's race by interference when sun shines again from behind each vestige of grey.
Desiring to taste more this defiant line-bleed of victorious display as beach quickly empties battle between daylight and dark as stars wink adieu then old Sol sinks. © 2020 Fay Slimm |
