Happiness
was a surprise ode, signed 
Only for You. 
A red rose on the pillow 
of a four-poster and
sheets nectared in passion.

 

Happiness 
was the taste of love's juice
on virgin lips. 
A first drink of champagne
between kisses and
coffee the morning after.

 

Happiness 
was racing rain, skinny dips 
and beach frolics.
A warm duo-bath at sunset,
decadent chocs and
the fun of silly laughter.

 

Happiness 
now unwrapped oozes scent 
of treasured thrills. 
A captured event caught on 
videoed film and
dredged in covert rapture.

When signing-in today, I felt a warm, scintillating vibration radiate out from the screen, and following it to here discovered from whence it came. Ummm! What a lush title to caress the senses, setting the mood for sweet moments to come, with a charming picture choice, as-well.

The undulating rhythm and flow of your words sweep us into your vibrantly rousing imagery, effortlessly breaching our staunchest resolve to resist … and, who would want to.
I used to think it was not possible you could get better, but now I see how naive I was.

Mmmm, Fay, this is not only sensually warm and enchantingly irresistible, you've virtually mastered imagery and metaphor in such ways it feels as though you take us into your scene with you, and that, M'Lady, is poetry at its vibrant best; ummm, what a luring romantic tryst … covert rapture, indeed*
