Embracing The Rain

Embracing The Rain

A Poem by Fatum
"

Don't you love the rain?

"

 Embracing the Rain

When the clouds turn tenebrous,

I know that Vancouver’s torrential beauty

is quickly on its way.

The parks and quiet blocks,

belong solely to me.

Keep your raincoats, gumboots, hoods!

Pfft.

Go hide.

I need no umbrella,

no protection from this rain.

Every single drop that hits my skin,

creates euphoria.

In this rain, all I need

is my darling to embrace

in this hurricane of tenderness,

a lavish lip lock,

lustily setting us free,

here, in this miniature monsoon.

Baby, all I ask,

is you make it rain for me.

Don’t be timid. Don’t be shy.

If it rains,

my darling

make it pour.

Very nice romantic whimsy here. It flows quite well and has such a seductive feel. Excellent.
