Embracing The RainA Poem by FatumDon't you love the rain?Embracing the Rain
When the clouds turn tenebrous, I know that Vancouver’s torrential beauty is quickly on its way. The parks and quiet blocks, belong solely to me.
Keep your raincoats, gumboots, hoods!
Pfft.
Go hide.
I need no umbrella, no protection from this rain. Every single drop that hits my skin, creates euphoria.
In this rain, all I need is my darling to embrace in this hurricane of tenderness, a lavish lip lock, lustily setting us free,
here, in this miniature monsoon.
Baby, all I ask, is you make it rain for me. Don’t be timid. Don’t be shy. If it rains, my darling
make it pour.
