Lady of the Night

Lady of the Night

A Poem by Moon
"

Idea from My Lady of the Night

"

The dark woods surround me,
The ghouls lurking in wait.
And no hope can be seen,
Through the blanket of the night.

But suddenly a light shines out.
I turn to see quickly,
See the moon in the sky,
And its peaceful gaze.

A figure shines out down the road,
A woman dressed in white.
She smiles at me innocently,
As she holds out her hand.

Relief floods my soul,
As I take her hand in mine.
For the Landy of the Night assures me,
That I have nothing to dread.

I edited this slightly. I was giving off an opposite view then what I wanted. Hopefully it will make sense now.

Be wary of strange women in the woods at night
They may not be what you believe
Why are they hiding from the light?
what are they hoping to achieve?
To steal your soul it could be true
I may be wrong but I believe
The helping hand they offer you
you should refuse and quickly leave
