The Dreamer's Dream

The sun fades away with all its thoughts

Bringing the night, with all its dreamers.

The ones who wish while they sleep, For when sleep arrives, can we truely obtain the things we want.

I often find myself, Dreaming. Dreaming of you.

Dreams of the dreamer's, these dreams we dream.

Can often lead to the tears of early morning rise.

 

Curse the sun! The sun in which brings weary thoughts. Thoughts of haste, and the waste of these thoughts. Curse the day! for it brings heartache, The kind that reality is friends with.

 

Bring back the moon.....Ooh moon how you comfort me.

resting sences come close to my heart's desires. I am dreaming of you, For in my dreams, I am with you.....

oh my oh my I loved this poem. I, too, am a child of the night! I think it is the most beautiful time of the day. The moon, the stars, the deep blue sky... everything is so much better at night. I like to stare out of the window and imagine and dream and make wishes. "you may say that I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one." I LOVED the imagery and the word play. You were able to paint a picture in my head using very descriptive words. Kudos!!!
