It's Okay

It's Okay

A Poem by FatesDeath

It's okay to cry to the stars. They'll be your guiding light.
They'll never judge you and you can cry as long as you'd like.
They're not friend or foe, just a burning ball of light
that lets you know you'll never be more alive than
when you sit there,
crying your broken heart into the daylight.
It's okay to let it all out and sit and stare into the night.
The night isn't a comforting hand or a beacon of hope,
just consuming darkness that lets you know
you'll never be able to escape your fears, thoughts, or emotions
especially when it's storming and you're desperately
trying to fight.
It's okay to scream and shout into the rising sun because
it lets you know you survived and
you'll be alright.
