Dear Seeker

Dear Seeker

A Poem by FatalLullaby
"

Another old one :)

"

You stand on the edge

Of twisting roads and solitude marked signs

An ancient game has begun

The rules are strict

Shifted around with every new perspective to be lost

And the price is yet to be found

You inhale the persipicacity wrenched dust born with every new step

Then exale another memory to be carved under the soil behind you

To  merge together with the others before you

The stories of the million footprints searching for their price

In truth seeking the logic behind the rules

The meaning of the game everyone else seems to be playing...

In reality dont we all?

Dont you?

We are all seekers

Lost in our own ways

Looking over a fabricated version of reality

Trying to find the most genuine looking lie among others

We're searching at the wrong place

Swaying in the past, pondering over every tear and smile once shed

Stuttering through the future, calculating consequences and chasing dreams

Meanwhile...

Crawling through today, forgetting the essence of every breath we ever took or will take

The answer to both our struggle with the past and curiosity of the future

Dear seeker,

The meaning rests in the journey

Not the destination

The rules become clear when ones perception can bind with others eyes

The game is won when you take time to appreciate every minute you've come near to losing

Not when you think you've found the prize....

Dear seeker,

I wrote this poem for you

I hope you will finally find your way

While you savor every step you take

Who knows?

Maybe one day our paths may meet

This time I'll listen to every word blooming from your lips

Till then take care and never give up...

             -Another lost seeker
