Nobody told me that these wounds would never mend,

Nobody told me my sun would set and never rise again.

Nobody told me that the eclipse would steal you away,

Nobody told me that this pain was meant to stay.

 

I found you,

I lost you,

I’m fighting my way just to have you,

And yet you’ll never see the day when I lose it all just to feel you.

 

You were there everyday with a smile on your face,

Nothing could tear you away from that blessed grace.

Until one day,

Until one day when you stumbled,

When everything I knew crumbled.

And I could never find my way back to the place were we used to be okay,

Blinded by the illusions in my head everyone knew I lost my way.

And that’s when the curtain fell.

When I was bought out and had nothing left to sell.

And you’ll see my story on every on every page.
