Too Few Tomorrow's

Too Few Tomorrow's

A Poem by Fast Eddie

TOO FEW TOMORROW’S

TOO FEW TOMORROW’S

                                SO MANY YESTERDAYS-

ARE YOU JUST PASSING THROUGH THE PAGES

                                BEFORE TIME YELLOWS THEM AWAY-

DO YOU PASS THROUGH TIME

OR DOES TIME PASS THROUGH YOU-

STILL THERE ARE SO MANY YESTERDAYS

           BUT THE TOMORROW’S

                                           ARE SO FEW…

there was a Fast Eddie where I grew up . . . I remember his standing on the street corner with his boom box and striped shirt . . . some days he'd be preaching to the cars unfortunate to be stopped by the street light . . . some days he'd be cussing

your profile name brought me here on a wave of revery, the poem's nice

glad to read you
