Boondocks don't talk, where falling trees don't make a sound
Lost behind the church-house, bumfuk's beach almost within reach
North of that old crooked Sourwood, tripod on sandy ground
Hey LaRue, I smell you, trees in line, longknife choppin' each

Thread the deerpath or climb on all fours, forget the four by fours
Starin' at a two foot poplar, chewed in two, spiral striped by teeth
And Red-Tail above carryin' on, telescope back between the doors
Shin rippers made my ankles both, a perfect thorny wreath

Chainin's done, stones are planted, back to the land of the sand
Spark the fire, crank the music, count the craters in the moon
Pink ribbon out of pocket, switch paint can for beer in hand
Lost as Daniel Boone, headed to ruin, marooned on the dune

-Jerdin

Hidden concrete twista', above Hall of Injustice occupies the Arista
Where the rails once split Water Street in two, it now runs thru
And old Leb'non Middle, now occasion to drama, the outdoor vista
Below Forest it leaves daylight, and it's spelled Jordan, who knew?

Exited below the trailer park, soon to be Jimmy's new store
White house gone, Walnut five laned, Ron the McDon hustled in
Red and white striped gates, gone from this place, the lore
Key Market Video tape daydream, is my prescription in?

And somewhere in between, beside the modern battle heap
The veterans still toast to the fog and smoke, the trains that were.
The Depot bricks scorched in the heat, then a gatepile for Deep,
Slimy and slow below, above progress did come and go, in a blur
