Cedar of Leb'non, Beech of Bardstown

Cedar of Leb'non, Beech of Bardstown

A Story by FarisGreybear
"

now with english translation! :D

"

"Cèdre du Liban, Hêtre de Bardstown."
par Le chevalier de L'ours Gris.
Lundi, Le 17ème Mars, 2014.
Ville de Raceland, L'ètat de Kentuckie, États-Unis.

1. Eh bien, vers Liban, on se trouve les cèdres.
2. Quand même, derrière l'ombre de L'évêque Flagèt,

And now for a translation for my english speaking friends

(unfortunately the words obviously no longer rhyme!).......

"Cedar of Leb'non, Beech of Bardstown",
By Farris GreyBear,
Monday the 17th of March, 2014.
City of Raceland, State of KY, U.S.

1. And well, 'round Leb'non is where Cedars are found.
2. Meanwhile, hidden in the shadow of Bishop Flaget,
3. The city of Bardstown's perched above the Beeches.
4. 'Tween the two, a catholic stream, where I've swam.

5. Beginning at a spring, to the East of Gravel Switch,
6. Hot water, not cold, in between the left bank and right,
7. throughout Marion County, that red dirt is rich.
8. Without blemish, the Knights ride upon the sky forever.
