Siberia to Sherman, Sinking Spring to Talbott's.

Siberia to Sherman, Sinking Spring to Talbott's.

"
1. Foller the Nolin plumb on down to N'Orleans,
2. Make your swap and walk back the Natchez track.
3. Fin'ly thru Sonora and Siberia, o'er to Mount Sherman
4. The Lincoln's want their Sinking Spring back.

5. From back in the day to Joel Ray, get a room and stay.
6. Robert Hodgen and John LaRue cleared the way for you.
7. Now the square is a circle, bypassed by a fish-hook.
8. And Maloney's is a ghost off the old E-town route.

9. The rail bridge stones below the old Mill seat,
10. and the many natives who left to not return.
11. Sad Thomas loses three farms, a son, and his wife,
12. selling out at Talbott's surely made his heart burn.

13. Son planted at White City, Wife in Indiana,
14. Still I see the slow Nolin, and I'm ready to pack.
15. Families are still being run off their land, see the bank,
16. and the Lincoln's still want Sinking Spring back.
