Blackhorse, Whitehorse, and Redhorse: Of Jessamine Stonewalls and Stallions

In the clouded path of the grey storm again....

Thunderbolt Morgan and Lightening Ellsworth in the sky,
from Chaplin Hills battleground to James Harrod's town.
And on through the Shaker's town, us four, and our friend,
Brooklyn bridge and tunnel pass slowly by the eye.

Modern medieval meander across Lord Corman's estate....
Private Jets, Hellicopters, and full size toy train sets,
from Short Shun to where "Glory guards with solemn round."
But the John Craig's tied up already, we're ten minutes late.
On to DeLong, Aphids, and the Polo Club cut, no regrets.

Still they stare beyond the slave walls, the stallions of Jessamine....
Blackhorse, Whitehorse, and Redhorse, muscle of high price.
from Palisade bluffs, through rocky roughs, get lost and be found.
In the land of luxury, hidden from the traffic view, we slyly grin,
Just another equine day in May in the beautiful bluegrass paradise.
