SILENCE OF MY HEART

I have fallen from so high

from the cloud of happiness, love, achievment, & fortune

I have been stricken to earth so bad

I have been hurt immensely

my heart cries million times a day

for the reason better known to it, yet inexpressible

no one hears out, no one sees

the silence and the pain

the fire and the heat

that is burning inside of me

and killing me all the way inside

I happen to survive

witness, feel, smile, laugh

but my poor heart remain solitude & obsessed

every now and then I feel

the pangs of distress & disappointment

meditating all the day and night

wanting someone to come to me

listen to me, present me with a placid embrace

for I have been through so much of pain

for I have been sleepless and pensive since years

I have been sabotaged and oppressed

I need to sleep, I need to rest

in the arms of eternal peace & comfort
