This one's for my best friend..Sarah

If life leaves you high and dry 

I'll start complaining to god

That my best friend is in the plot

Which is way to odd. Way to odd..

I'll cut down those trees

Which don't shower it's flowers

When you were in shade of them.

I want you to know that

Whenever I feel down

My heart reminds me of you

I never found someone else

Cause like you, there are just few.

No matter if you're far away from me

You're the one and were only meant to be

Cause when everyone turned me down

You were the only who believed

May be I'll fight you for less number of texts,

Just know there was no one like you as my previous and there will be no one next.

 even if you create your own storms,

And lock yourself alone in the dorm

I'll come with wings attached on my back

Or take a broom to fly.

But I'll never say you goodbye.

So baby, let's just do some stuff as crazy

You know I'll be there for you, there for you,

Even in the millions of crew

I'll jump down from the stage

This is a pleasant, youthful sounding pledge of friendship with great details of such honest ups & downs, but the strong feelings of affection prevail. Your playfulness & caring attitude come thru loud & clear, but not in any kind of pleading, lovesick puppy way (which is so refreshing!) I love seeing young people with balanced healthy relationships in their poems here . . . I read so many in one-sided pathetic whining or blaming rants.
