She taught me.

She taught me.

A Poem by Farhan Shaikh
"

Poem describes love ...for a girl he misses

"
She taught me how to not fear,
when I was let down by others..

She taught me how to stand again,
when I was about to lose, when there's nothing to hold on.

She taught me how to smile,
when there are sorrows around,
when there's tears in my eyes.

She taught me how to come out of dark with our own,
when there's no one to pull, when I was afraid.

she taught me how to believe in ourselves,
when others are
against,
But she never taught me One thing,
How to live, when she's not around.

Thanks so much Donicca
Oh I remember! Young love can be so hard! I am glad he showed his love in the poem. Once one has expressed ones feelings, it is easier to accept a situation and move on. This is a very gentle and perceptive poem. Well written.

Thank you so much☺
This is how I feel about my mother. I am an adult now, and I rarely see her anymore. It is my choice. It was so hard to walk away to build a life on my own. when I am around her its just... home. I can't be a child anymore but seeing her I kind of want to be. To drown in her unconditional love. :) This poem choked me up a bit.

Beautifully written. I feel the emotion of this piece. To feel grateful and sorrow for people past. A tribute and an expression of feeling all at the same time. Very relatable. Encouragements to the boy.
Well penned!
