Stars Behind Your Eyes

This is a poem I wrote for someone, based on a dream I had. It's a bit personal, but I feel happy enough to share it with the world. It's about the hopes and dreams within someone's heart.

There lies a million stars behind your eyes-
Stars that flicker cold and bright, 
Dim and light,
Illuminating the night. 
A million stars, that shine your life,
Your hearts desires,
Your broken twilights. 
Deep within those million stars shines one so right,
Blinking slowly still,
Blinking gently alone,
Blinking with all hope in it's life. 
With all my dreams, prayers, and wishes it sings,
Waiting quietly for your eyes, 
The gentle hearth within your arms,
The loving touch of your embrace.
