Tides of the Heart

Tides of the Heart

A Poem by Farblade
"

According to my notes, this was a bit random. I believe it was just a cluttered mass of thoughts that decided they wanted to be written.

"

We scream, every night.
We stare into oblivion,
We cry out for what's right.
We give our devotion to the dust.
Fires cascade like water,
Tears collide with tragedy.
Bliss becomes both a reality
And also an eternal fantasy.
The question why remains,
The answer how still sleeps.
Yet the chains that tie us
Forever will bind us.
The happiness and sadness
A part of the tides of our heart.

This was amazing!
I don't find it to read as a cluttered mass of thoughts at all. if this is random for you, it would be astounding to see what you come up with when you consider yourself focused. It seems to be very well-thought-out and just a beautiful offering.
