A Poem by Farblade
"

I decided to post this poem for an old friend... for her to know that she's always welcome to seek protection in the strength I have. She's an awesome friend, and the last thing I want is for her to be scared.. of anything.

"

Hush my beloved,
Close your weary eyes.
The lightning flashes,
The thunder rolls,
And there's a fear you feel inside.
But take my hand, hold on so tight,
Hold on to it with your life;
Believe in me and soon you'll see
That I can calm these angry skies.
I take you near, hold you close,
Protect you from everything around.
I'll scream and fight, with all my might,
Strong until they stand back down.
There's only one thing that I so fear,
The sorrow deep within your heart;
But with sadness gone and hope abound,
I lend my strength, even as we're apart.

I loved this closing line the most, it concluded the feel of the entire poem so perfectly well!
how about giving it a title like "My Eternal" or something like that, though I'm very bad with the title, but just a suggestion :)
Great work though!
