Peace is within

I lost my way in search of peace
thoughts entangled with misconceptions
failed to find their release
wherever my feet dragged me to
further provoked my disappointment to increase
there was no answer to please
the contradiction that arose
all day long,kept me up on my toes
Ah how absurd it all was!
peace is something to be freely bought?
Absolutely not!
you have to create it on your own expense
its the product of your deeds
its source exists within your soul
nearest when in His Grace
your forehead touches the floor
the genuine feeling of contentment you receive surging through your deepest core
