morning!morning!

morning!morning!

A Poem by Ben Walton

resting in the skies of day,
let me pick you up and take you away.
let me sleep forever in your starlit eyes
and kiss your fingers and hold you tight.

let's stay until the morning comes.
and if it doesn't-
(please don't let it)-
i guess we can stay forever.
but if it does
let me hold your beauty in my head
and remember every word you said.
so when night comes again
i'll know the perfect silhouette or your
perfect body
and i'll know morning's not coming this time.
i know there's nothing else.
