harsher showers

harsher showers

A Poem by Ben Walton

did you hear the rain falling down?
it destroyed the roof and shattered all these mirrors.
another seven years? just kill me.
the ones awake got to run
while i dreamt and was aroused by a harsher shower.
now i see the lightning storm march in
and the wind break the trees all around me.
i pray that i'm going home now
but i guess i'm wrong. and thank god.
