What Animal Would You Be?

Salazzle tries to get the Salandits to use their imaginations to choose an animal they'd like to turn into, but it doesn't go very well.

Salazzle: Now, everyone, today we're going to use our imaginations. I want you to think, if you could turn into an animal, what animal would you choose to be? Dale?

Dale: A cat.

Salazzle: That's nice. Why would you like to be a cat?

Dale: I want to be all fluffy and sit by the fire at winter and stay warm.

Salazzle: Lovely. Louie?

Louie: A car.

Salazzle: No, Louie. A car isn't an animal. I'll come back to you in a minute. Jeff? A cat. Yes. That's nice, but let's think of some other animals. Yes, I understand you want to be a cat too, but Dale's the cat. Yes, I know there could be two cats, but Dale used all the magic that make cats. You're going to be something else. A tiger? A lion? No? OK, Jeff, you're a cat. You had your chance to be something else.

Louie: I want to be a car.

Salazzle: Louie! I've told you. You can't be a car. 

Louie: What about my dad's car?

Salazzle: No, not even your dad's car, it's just not going to happen today. Jeff, now you do want to be something else? What do you want to be? A jellyfish. That's.... interesting. Ben, how about you? A slug. Ben, isn't this getting a bit... silly?

Ben: No! I want to be a slug so you can lay about so someone will tread on me and go ew!

Salazzle: Nice. Very nice.... 

Louie: How about my uncle's car? It's a BMW!

Salazzle: Louie! No. I mean no. Not you're uncle's car. I don't care that your uncle has a BMW. You not going to be a BMW today. Riley. What do you want to be? An eagle? A dolphin? Have you ever thought of being a dolphin, leaping through the... what? A spider? Riley, why would you want to be a spider?

Riley: So I can play my gameboy with two hands while drinking a beer.

Dale: What wrong with spiders? They're awesome!

Salazzle:  Yes, but spiders are... OK. Be a spider. But Louie, you cannot be a car. You can't be your dad's car, you can't be your uncle's car or any car whatsoever.

Louie: Can I be a jaguar?

Salazzle: Yes... you can be a jaguar. Very clever. No, you won't be doing a lot on the road, you'll get run over. Well, that's a start, we'll do some more of that tomorrow. Maybe.....
