Right Here

Right Here

A Poem by Faith Anderson
"

Sometimes we can forget that God will meet us exactly where we are if we call out to Him. It can be easy to get caught up in certain ways to be connected to God, when it isn't as hard as we think.

"
the wind carries Your voice over me
i feel the waters in my soul
stirring
i see leaves whipping past
my hair reaches out to catch them
unsuccessfully
i begin to run
and i hear You calling
like waters in a desert
i long to meet You
and when i stop running
i realize You have already met me where i am
right here.
you are within me
and i no longer thirst
i run in Your freedom
and the wind carries me on the path
You've laid ahead

There it is so simple! All I need is within and all I need to do is let go and let the wind take me. I really enjoyed this poem and, I agree, it is not as hard as we think!
