A Poem by Faith Anderson
"

I seriously have no idea what this is about because I wrote it a long time ago (which idk if that's a valid reason), but let me know what you think it's about! :)

"
an ambient anthem rings
throughout a silent sky so thick,
you could drown in it.
the distant whistle of train bellows
a melody of a chorus,
singing to the birds.
"Wake Up!"
the birds do not wake.
this isn't the first time.
waves of wind soar Through the branches holding Their stories
Together.
Their legacy glides
With the wind.
and Together They Meet With All
of the melodic noises of the night.
Together
They
Are
One

I re-read this poem and thought there may be some kind of meaning between the unity of the train, the birds, the wind, the branches, etc.--the "noises of the night." They are all different and have different sounds and roles in the world, but they are brought together for the night? I have no idea. lol.
